Dishonest Abe: Born in America to Parents who were Here Illegally
- “Hamadeh’s father… came to the U.S. from Syria on a six-month visitor’s visa in May 1989. Only he didn’t leave when his visa expired. And 18 months later, in May 1991, baby Abraham was born. His parents asked for mercy to avoid deportation.” (AZ Central, 9/19/22)
- “Court records show… Abe Hamadeh’s father overstayed a visa by nearly seven years and was not in the country legally when the candidate was born.” (AZ Central 9/13/22)
- “Hamadah’s troubles didn’t end after his case was dismissed: in January [1996] an immigration judge ordered that the jeweler and his wife leave the country voluntarily or be deported for overstaying their visas.” (Chicago Reader, 10/17/96)

Dishonest Abe: Supported Chuck Schumer’s Amnesty Bill
- Abe defended the Schumer-backed “Gang of 8” amnesty bill, which passed the Senate in June 2013 but thankfully failed to pass the House.
- Abe said this bill was “a fix to our system” and pretended the bill was anti-amnesty— but the bill included a pathway to full American citizenship for millions of illegal aliens!
- Abe even donated to Jeff Flake, the anti-Trump U.S. Senator who was in the “Gang of 8” with Schumer and co-wrote the amnesty bill.

Dishonest Abe claims that he is pro-life and will fight for the rights of the unborn. But he has a history that says otherwise. He has come out in favor of “abortion rights” in the past. And even recently came out against federal protections for the unborn. We can’t trust him to protect the sanctity of life.

- At a candidate forum in Sun City on February 20, 2024, Abe said that abortion regulation should be “left to the states” and that the federal government should not impose restrictions. Notably, Abe was the only candidate in the race who declined to advocate federal protections for the unborn.
- Do you want to send someone to Congress who thinks California or Oregon should be allowed to permit violent late-term and partial birth abortion?

While Omar claimed that on 9/11 “some people did something,” Hamadeh got more specific.
